Notes

For a 3rd generation cassette this show sounds amazing.  If anyone has a lower generation version please contact me.

------------------

A very nice show that doesn't circulate for some reason. Judging by the grades I've seen given to the few versions of this show I have seen on others' lists, I suspect this is a significant upgrade.

This release is taken from third gen tapes, and has remarkably full, clear sound. I suspect that somewhere in the generational chain was a tape player with slightly misaligned heads, as the first side (all the songs up through "Witch Hunt") has slightly less fidelity than the remainder of the show.

Nonetheless, the instrument separation on this source is fantastic, with
everyone very well-resolved throughout the recording. The only detractor I see is that the start of "Red Sector A" and "YYZ" are missing due to tape flips.

As with the first volume of these releases, the goal is 100% preservation. This means that I have done a straight transfer from tape, with no EQ, only normalization, and fades at the beginning and end of each disc. Please keep it this way, and do not remaster this recording. (With this one, I think there might be some temptation to get rid of some hiss, but I also think this would kill the high end, especially the crispness of Neil's cymbals).

Special thanks to Dan Eckert for the artwork.
