The Digital Dan
(Audio - 7.5)
Another fine sounding Audience show from the GUP tour. The sound is very
full and has great dynamic range and isn't very distant. This is one of
those shows that the louder it is played, the better it sounds. Highly
recommended show. As with all Digital Reproductions recordings, it's only
available via free trade and never for sale. Just visit the trading links

Ron's Rush RoIO Review
A rare tape with the entire "Grace Under Pressure" set. This was the
first place I’d ever heard live versions of "The Body Electric," "Between
The Wheels," "Afterimage," or "Red Lenses." Worth an honorable mention are
the mid-80s takes of "Red Barchetta" and "Vital Signs." The band is very
clearly up for this show, and Geddy gets a chance to practice his French
with the Montreal crowd. This was one of the first bootlegs I ever owned,
acquired back in 1985. I played the original quite a bit, until my cassette
deck started to eat it, and I clued in to make a listening copy. There is
some tape hiss as well as some slight fading at the end of "The Body
Electric" and "Vital Signs" (where the tape-eating incident occurred). This
is an audience tape, but the sound mix is quite good. A very listenable and
enjoyable show. (1999-04-01)
