Galt Speaks

The source for this show is a DAT dub from a 1st generation cassette. The
quality is about a VG++ but a lot of people would most likely rate it as
EX-. The sound quality is right up there with Signals From London
Remastered. There is a little tape hiss as no noise reduction was used. It
sure would be nice to uncover the actual master cassettes someday!
Nevertheless, this is a must for your collection as it is in the top two of
the best known Signals boots out there. This is a Sirius Productions release
and is intended for trade only. Check out the DRE newsgroup for trades and
2:1 deals. (2003-05-23)

Wow! I heard this was good, but I was still surprised by the quality of
this show. This is the best Signals show I've heard so far. For me, it
knocks Signals from London - Remaster from the top spot. There are some real
gems in the setlist, too. This is early enough that Chemistry is still being
played, and I really like this performance. Some of the other Signals songs,
like Digital Man, The Analog Kid, and Countdown also sound great. Camera Eye
also gets a very nice performance. All in all, A great set list and a great
performance in my book. Also, I find the sound quality to be great. I would
rate it at least an EX-. I feel this show is a must have.

A Nice sounding show from early in the Signals tour. With the exception
of some tape hiss this is one of the best Signals shows out there. You won't
go wrong by adding this show to your collection.

This is one of those awesome recordings you must have. I originally
obtained this recording by trade on cassette years and years ago. I was
blown away by the sound. I immediately archive the cassette to DAT. I'm glad
to see someone has put this recording to disc. When I traded for the CD I
wasn't even sure what I was getting. I had almost forgotten about the
recording, if you can believe that. WOW. Great set. Signals was a great
tour. How can you complain with songs like Digital Man, Chemistry, The
Analog Kid, New World Man, The Camera Eye, Red Barchetta and Vital Signs and
classics like Closer To The Heart, The Trees and Xanadu. What doesn't this
set have. (2003-05-23)

6 of the 7 songs from MP and 7 of the 8 songs from Signals! The sound is
a low excellent in my opinion and the tape hiss is not distracting to me.
Everything can be easily heard. Geddy has a tiny bit of trouble singing
during TSOR, but his voice clears up very early on and doesn't impact the
show, really. Also CTTH is very slightly abridged in the beginning, but
there is no cut to be heard, but maybe it was cross faded with the crowd
noise after Camera Eye. A very wonderful show and my favorite from the
Signals tour now. (2005-01-24)
