Notes The Digital Dan
   (Audio - 8)

A great master tape source from the ESL tour. As the taper stated, this is the first time anyone other than himself has heard the show. And we are truly lucky he came forth with the source. This is a fine sounding show and quite rare to find an English performance. The crowd is exceptionally behaved, making little if any noise during the songs. To those non-Americans, this is called being polite! The sound is very full and is even better when played live. I took a little off on the sound rating cause there are a few occasions where the sound is a bit duller than other areas. As for the title, Alex breaks a guitar string at the end of the solo in "Freewill". Starting with the medley there is some high end distortion that was part of the source. Once again thanks to Peter for the wonderful source. As with all Digital Reproductions releases, these are for free trade or blank trade only. If you are attempting to buy one of these recordings, you are being ripped off.    (2001-07-21)
