Ron's Rush RoIO Review
This is a great performance from the European leg of the PeW tour, taken
from one day before taping of a show which would eventually end up on
“Exit...Stage Left.” As such, we see a lot of “Rush Firsts” on this show.
This is the first time an audience shouts “Hey!” during Overture, the first
time we hear Broon’s Bane, and the first time we get the instrumental solo
before Jacob’s Ladder. Also, there’s a neat transition between The Trees and
Cygnus X-1. A great PeW show! This show sounds like a typical audience show
from the early 1980s. The fidelity is a bit limited, but the EQ is great,
and all the instruments sound great. The sound is a bit mushy, and distorted
in places, which prevents a higher grade, but overall a great |
