| Notes |
"This is my first ever bootleg, and also the only one I ever
bought. I was at Play It Again Records in Bethlehem Pennsylvania when
I spotted it in the Rush section as "Import". As I never thought at
that point I would hear live Rush before ATWaS I quickly grabbed it for
aboot 13-14 bucks. At the time I thought this disc, although of very
crappy quality was the greatest thing since sliced back bacon. It was
my first exposure to Bad Boy, and my first time hearing live stuff off the
first album not played on ATWaS. Since then I've come to realize what
crappy quality it is, but it will forever hold a special place in my heart
for getting me into trading. 'Nickeh' While this disc captures a
great show, it doesn't sound good enough to get a lot of pleasure from. At
times, some instruments come in loud and clear, only to be drowned out
later. It sounds as though the recording level was set way too high, and a
good deal of audio compression is evident. And the sound is somewhat
distant. It sounds fine on a crappy stereo, but crank it up on a good stereo
and you will have a headache after twenty minutes or so. This show's strong
point is that it's the only reasonably decent sounding show from '74 that's
not the Electric Lady Studios show.
