Queensrÿche´s return to Sweden Rock marked the return of one of the festivals best shows ever, their set in 2003 was awesome and got great reviews. This time they pulled no stops, starting with 37 minutes of OM1 incl. the GREAT and (in Scandinavia) never played Suite sister Mary. And what a great rendition it was!!! Finally I got to hear it live! They continued with 35 minutes from their new album, their best since 1995, OM2. I would have picked slightly different songs, but on the whole a nice set of songs I´d never seen/heard live before. The last two OM2-songs (no. 9/10) are KILLER! Ending with some for me useless classics was slightly below par though, especially when conisdering that the guitartech was witing for them to come back and do Queen of the reich, guitars ready and all. Ah well. Can´t get it all, now can we?

All in all a GREAT show with near excellent sound, even the wind was nice to me at this gig :)
